Gypsy Carns - The Watchman Artisan's Journal
If you like Gypsy's approach to ministry and you wish he'd would get a bit 'louder' well, this the CD you need to buy now. Imagine a motorcycle riding, end times preacher. That's the kind of the attitude 'The Watchman' comes across as. .... (although I don't know if Gypsy actually rides or not). He also comes across with what seems like a type of old testament prophet mystic.
Musically I like the tunes like Sancitfy'd News and Wailin' Wall that showcase Gypsy's slide work and I like the funkier tunes as well. Some of the tunes that just straight ahead tunes with all thedrive on the beat ...... well, I find those a bit too much old time rock for me, but then some people like that.
